Sitting at work and saw the coolant leaking out. After having it towed 70 miles (Thank god for AAA gold membership!!!!) turns out the radiator shroud was installed wrong and rubbed a hole in the radiator!!!!!
Now i'm driving a freakin chrysler sebring!!!! I HATE CARS!!!!!!

 

You got a hole in your rad from the SHROUD? Man you're lucky that it happened when it didn't really matter instead of at a time like when you were pulling a trailer.

What is AAA Gold? I have Plus, and it cost me about 91 bucks a year. What is gold all about?

 

I think Gold and Plus are the same. 100 mile towing!!!!! My card just says Gold

Kinda sad that a plastic shroud made a hole in a metal radiator!!!! I am glad i noticed while it was sitting and not while i was driving home!!!! Just wish i woulda been in town and not 70 miles away!!!

 

Sorry to hear about that... It sucks when things fail on your truck for no good reason...

But as for towing my insurance company covers my towing so I can save that extra money for AAA membership...

 

The only thing that worrys me now is, what else could have been installed improperly!!!!! Did my truck run last in the lineup at the factory and everyone just wanted to go home????
Hopefully, this is just a freak occurance!!!!!
