Default making a silverline exhaust louder?

I have the silverline exhaust on my truck. It does sound great at full throttle... But I was MORE!!

It does not have a cat on it as far as I can see(just looked). Just so i know I am not retarded, where is the cat exactly on this truck?(first diesel btwyes, I am proud)
Anywho, I can hardly hear the good ol'Cummins roaringinside the cab. Even when I was pulling my trailer last weekend you could not even hear it.

Can I switch the muffler out? I would like a straight pipe but I dont want it that loud(well I do... Just my city cops and people would be pissed) and which muffler should I get? How much "should" it be to buy and install it?

Thanks!

Well can I change out that Silverline muffler for an Aero that everybody is talking about? I want to get a straight pipe but don't want the drone during towing and a drop in MPG. So what is the best muffler that is "close" to a straight pipe that will not kill my milage?

Thanks!
