Default 3500 suspension into 2500

I had installed a lift into my 07 3500 mega cab 4x4 diesel and my buddy has a 05 2500 ram quad cab hemi, and we are wondering if my front coils and shocks would work into his truck? any info or help would be awesome! thanks

Pretty sure they would fit just fine. The only difference between the 2500 and 3500 is that the 3500 has an overload spring in the rear. There is no difference in the front suspension.

Wait, I know this is true for a 2500 and 3500 if both are diesels but is it true if the 2500 has a hemi engine?

Ah. I never considered that. If the 3500 is a diesel and the 2500 is gas, then there should be a significant difference in ride and height.

it'll work. there is realy no difference between the suspension on the diesel and gas other than the front springs being a little softer for the gasser since the engine doesnt weigh as much.
