transmission is gone need help

my transmission band broke is there any cheap way to fix it or am i just going to have to bite the bullet and buy a new one i have no 2nd gear its a 2001 dodge dually with a 5.9

any tranny shop worth its salt can rebuild it for ya. and while your at it get them to put in a new torque converter, billet input shaft and a new valve body.
