Default ISO Dry Air Filter

In search of...Dry Air Filter, drop in OEM replacement, cleanable.

I'm looking at an AEM DryFlow filter, I really like the looks of it. Other thoughts or recommendations?

Honestly ... I'd probably just stick with the stock style paper filters, unless Amsoil makes one.

I looked at their site, Mayfair, but they don't show an air filter for the 6.7L yet. Did I miss something?

Why bother with drop in's or cleanables... Justgo with a BHAF and a outerwear and never worry again. My BHAF is over 60K miles (3+ years) now never been replaced yet. The filter minder off the stock air box its mounted tothe BHAFit never really moved... It corrects the problem with dirt leaking by the filter like the stock air box...

Here is my write up...

mikebol,

No Amsoil has not made a filter for the 6.7 but I've read about some who have used a 5.9 air filter in there 6.7L. IIRC they said the 5.9 filter is not as thick and they felt it allowed better air flow.

Mopar1973Man, the stock air box on the 6.7s has 2 sensors in them now. I'm not sure I would be able to easily fab up a new torque tube without causing some CELs. The sensors are in the top part of the air box, not in the torque tube so they'd have to be relocated somehow. This is why I've been looking for a better drop in replacement to fit in the OE air box.
