Mopar fender flare installation
All,
I'm in the process of installing my new Mopar fender flares I got from parts/service. The instructions state to put "rust inhibitor" in the holes I have to drill in the rear fender wells. What exactly is this?

Extend is a good one, if you have rust it eats the rust and converts to a primer to stop future rust, but will work on a new hole even better .
Should be at any auto store

I'll look for it. Is it a spray or in a tube?

I'm curious, which Mopar flairs did you get that you have to drill holes and not use the factory ones?

Just went to NAPA and Checker Auto. Neither one had this EXTEND. Where else can I get it?

Make sure and post pics when you're done.

I used touch-up paint instead. that lock-tite stuff was for existing rust, not new metal. I'll get some pics up later today.
