could someone please tell me how many quarts the auto tranny holds in a 2007 ctd. Thanks in advance.

 

IIRC the RE48 takes about 16-18 qts and the RFE68 takes 18-20 qts

 

are you talking about how much dry fill or just drop pan and refill?

 

I'm talking drop pan and refill

 

try doing a search on google it should be there.

 

if youre only dropping the pan then it should only be like 6-7 quarts, a full on flush is around 17qts. you ought to just flush it and put in amsoil....... itll be expensive but you wont have to mess with it again for a long time.

 

I can change my oil and tranny fluid anytime I want, have access to all the Amsoil oil I want at work...hahahaha.......Dallas
