Don't you find it funny how at 60 and 80 you get the same mileage?? I have noticed that in a variety of my vehicles as well. Seems like the faster you go, the more efficient it becomes.

that is one hell of an explination for a ticket. "I'm sorry officer, but i am doing the planet a favor by driving my 8500 pound truck 95 miles per hour, it gives me the best fuel mileage, maybe even better than that hybrid speedbump i went over back there!!!!!!!"

With my 2007 I average a little over 15 MPG over 13,000 miles. I have the 6-speed manual and 3.73 gears. Most of my miles are unloaded and I drive moderately.

If you have Excel (or the Open Office equivalent) you can view my fuel consumption since Day 1. http://h1.ripway.com/hildenja/2007RamFuelMaint.xls

I think I'll stick to my ol' 2002 Dodge Cummins 24V that gets 20.5 MPG easy...

50....24mpg
60....20mpg
70....18mpg
75....14mpg

i started seeing these numbers after 20K miles. before that i saw about 2 -3 mpg less
Is this hand calculated or is it what the Lie-O-Meter tells you?

the computer is wrong. I dont see how you can get 20 MPG at 80 MPH. Impossible with trucks like ours, even if you were only turning 1500 RPM, there is so much air pushing against our trucks that it would be impossible. Also, how are you gonna get the same MPG doing 60 and 80, but substantially worse in between the 2 numbers. Your info is dead wrong. I don't want to call you a retard or dumb, but you would have to be to believe those numbers.

Hey man, I don't know. i'm just tellin it how i see it. you don't have to be a dick about it slinging names. maybe at 80 the wind off the cab doesn't catch the tailgate anymore, who knows.
