RE: New engine code
I've had similar issues with MIL. Codes P2000, P2A00, PA245. EGR cleaned and O2 senor replaced previously, desooted this week. All updates/flashes current according to dealer. I was told I need to drive truck harder to burn out the soot. No excessive idling. I'm around 26,600 miles and have had no other issues. No difference in the mileage I've been getting or the running condition. I thought it was just a computer glitch that keeps the light coming on. The dealer took 2 days to come to this conclusion.

RE: New engine code
P2000-NOX Absorber EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD - BANK 1
Theory of Operation
The engine aftertreatment system monitors the O2 content in the diesel engine exhaust. The ECM monitors the exhaust gases for oxygen content and varies the rich/lean fuel mixture of the intake air fuel mixture to adjust system. This diagnostic measures the Oxygen storage capability of the NOx Absorber Catalyst. The ECM will set the fault if it detects that the NOx Absorber performance is lower than expected. The ECM will illuminate the MIL lamp immediately when the diagnostic runs and fails. The ECM will turn off the MIL lamp diagnostic runs and passes in four consecutive drive cycles
