yup... is there any other sport? it is the only professional team sport that does not use a ball lol...

If your not a fan of the game... it's not too late to jump on the bandwagon. one of the most exciting things about it is the end to end action... you can go for 5-10~12 minutes without a stoppage in play which can make the game hella exciting.

And hot. Many times I have had to take off the jacket I was wearing because my blood was pumping so much I was burnin up. Hockey is a real mans sport; unlike football. In Hockey, there are constant fights between players. Football, bunch of fat sweaty guys tackling eachother and huggin and touchin. Not to mention the QB playin with the guy in front's nuts. Example, Jake Plummer back in the mid 90's when he played for the Az Cardinals. Suspension for "fondling."

I once saw a fight where a veteran player went up against a rookie... they dooked it out for a couple of minutes and when they finally split the camera was in the perfect spot where you could see the vet pat the rookie on the shoulder and say good job as they separated... if you notice that when they finally go down the stop throwing the punches... kind of an unwritten rule in hockey code...
