well. . .the 98.5's started off with 215hp and 420lbft torque for the standard output, the high output's pushed 235hp and 460tq.

in 2001 the standard output engines were pushed to the level of the 98.5-early 01's HO's of 235hp 460tq, the 01-02 HO's were pushed to 245hp and 505tq.

in 03 with the intorduction of the high pressure common rail the standard output's rating was 250hp and 460tq with the high outputs going to 305hp and 555tq. in 04.5 the SO and HO went away whent he 48RE auto was able to handle the full output on the engine under normal conditions, plus there was another bump in power to 325hp and 600lb-ft. in 07.5 with the intorduction of the 6.7L the engine rateing was pushed to 350hp and 650tq

hope that helps since I'm not sure which year your asking for.

mopar1973man In muliple post I have seen you post the MPG per tank. You number are great. Is that Highway mileage_combined and hand calculation verified? One more, what input lineare your display using? In my truck theoverhead display (the bogometer) isabout 2.5=> 3.0 mpg off vs the hand calculation. IfI could figure outthe source maybey thenthere isway toget that wire into the overhead (bogometer)[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
