found a '93 250 cummins, ext cab, 300+k miles, auto (rebuilt 10k ago) 4x4...usual dents and scratches for the age, busted grill from a deer fight...has CAI, 150hp injectors (not in truck yet) some power options. i'm supposed to get more pics emailed to me soon...looks decent from the one crappy pic in the ad....he's asking $4800. price sounds good...haven't seen much else comparable for close to that price. i'd like a diesel to drive to set up as veggie burner also...neighbor has it on his f350 and is happy with it...plus it's a 4x4 HD truck, so it'll have some function to it also...i can get rid of the hemi.

i know that's not much to go on w/out actually seeing the truck...or atleast seeing several pics of it, but like i said, i haven't seen much else advertised in that price range...don't know if i'm missing something (i know i am, there's a long list) or if this is about normal price for this truck

 

I think you can do better than 5K on a truck with 300K on it. I'd keep looking ... they're out there

 

I'd go the old mercedes route instead, you already have a truck right.

 

well, the guy still hasn't sent pictures....i guess he doesn't want to sell too bad, or it's already gone and he just blew me off. i agree, it's got about 100k more miles than i'd want. i've also got my eye on a few MB 300D's in the area...of course one of them is a cool as hell wagon....how can you say no to that.
