I'm in the process of getting mine tapped too... trouble is, I can't find a damn parts store that has the tap I need!! WTF?? I need a 1/8" NPT and all I can find is MC type. Any help locating one would be much appricated!
Just go to Home Depot or Lowes. I have my Metric and SAE set from there. They are relativley cheap for a set of them.

I got mine at Tractor Supply. Make sure you get the correct drill bit too.
