The throttle pedal shakes/vibratesa little bit on a few occasions when changing gears from first to second. Any ideas? I test drove a '03 4x4 automatic and it vibrated constantly. When I told the owner that he looked funny at me like I was crazy. I guess he got used to it.

Mine is a 2004.5 Auto HO 2x4.

I have an 02 and it does it too. It doesn't bother me, but I guess I'm used to it too. As long as its not like driving diesel tractors (where it feels like the ground is vibrating after you get off) I'm fine with it. First time I got off one of those I thought the house was shaking and everybody looked at me like I was crazy.

 

Mine does that also sometimes. When it is 40* or below it will do it for about a mile or so.(Yes I let the engine warm up for a few minutes first)

My truck was just checked at the dealership a few weeks ago. My tranny is in good condision! Nothing to worry about I guess.

 

I want to fix mine, lol. Anyone else?

 

Yours must be pretty bad then. On mine you can't even tell unless you pay attention. ONE time I could feel it vibrate hard though, which is probably what you are experiencing. So I see your concern!

I think the only thing the pedal is hooked to is a position switch. No throttle cable or anything going under the hood.

 

makes me wonder if a bolt is loose. . .no vibes through mine.
