Default Running mirrors up or down?

I filled up my truck last night at the local Walmart for $4.12 a gal..[:@]
Anyway, I got bored and so I flipped my mirrors up to see if I like them like that. I can see behind my truck better, the blindspots are a lot better, and I can see black smoke more clear Although, I can see overall better with them flipped down so we will see! The gf doesn't like them and doesn't want to drive my truck anymore(yeah... such a bad thing )

Just wondering if yall drive with them up or down when not towing?

More wind drag with them up and the trucks about 2 inches wider at the mirrows, but it up to you.

I keep mine folded as you have to duck under them in some parking lots or tight home driveways, If I have to work around the truck I fold them to the body of the truck so I can walk by

I won't use it on the highway much... I can't see how it would really slow it down drastically though. I just think it looks sweet with it up! Wondering what everybody else thought.

Personally, I think they look stupid if you are not pulling a load that requires them to be out.
The only time mine go up is when I pull the Deck Boat.
I will say this though, I like the visability when they are up. It puts the little spot mirror out of the direct site of the next lane and there is much more viewing angle.

I have them out for function, dont really care how it looks. With them folded out I dont have any blindspots. Plus I can knock people out on the sidewalks

if you'd bought a ford you'd have to date only girls with a AAA membership
