Default Kinda OT: Money's worth

Do you think I got my money's worth outta these brake pads before changing them on my sunfire? Gee I wonder why it's growling when I put on the brakes. They were lifetime pads so back they go. $25 for 60k miles not too shabby. $70 for rotors. All quality Chinese parts.

autozoners? Replaced my pads at 32k, already had the tires off when I realized the fronts were wrong, even though my trucks an 06, it used 07 pads. Ugh. Good thing I had my friends truck cause I'd have been heated if I had to put the tires back on and then back off. Did you get the duralast gold or standard? I went with standard since I'll replace em every 30k. I put my front rotors on a lathe as well. The rears just about never need to be turned. Careful though, autozone says theyll replace em, but they don't want metal on metal, odd cause youd think theyd want them as worn down as possible.

Yeah they're Autozoner's. Turn what? The rotors are so thin to begin with theres nothing to turn. I think this will be my 3rd set for free. I used to switch them and the rotors out every year cause they warped but I just got used to it and don't care anymore.
