I notice he did this in 4WD as well. I've got the stock transmission, would I burn up my transmission if I attempted this with my truck?

yea, he's got a few things done to that tranny to hold it together.

you could do similar, but it would be best to launch at a slightly lower RPM.

That is pretty dang fast for a truck. I wonder what that thing puts out at the wheels. Whatever it is it was definately a beast!

I have the Edge like the guy in the video. Going by advice from the DF, I only go as high as level 3. Launching from a dead stop,2WD, Edge Power 3, no power braking, my truck takes 7.5 seconds to hit 60mph. What usually happens is the truck accelerates with I go full throttle , then about 1-2 seconds later the Turbo goes full blast and I get some tire spin on the way to 60mph.

I'm sure I could reduce the 0-60 time a lot if I power braked in 4WD, since there would be no lag and no wheel spin.
