$2.99 Diesel
Have you seen Dodge's offer of $2.99 diesel for 3 years. It sounds pretty good. I went to the website and read up on it. They give you a credit card that you use at the pump and you are only charged $2.99/gallon no matter what the price is. They will give you this price for 2400 gallons per year. Sounds like a good deal. Wish I had $40k for a new 6.7.[:@]
if you save 2 bucks a gallon, that's 4800 a year or 14400 after 3 years.
Right now I'm paying 4.17, so I would be paying 1.18 a gallonI would I save2832.00 dollars a year or 8496.00 at todays price.
And I sure it's going to go up and up now that Hillary's your President, bet that scared you didn't it???

Not Quite:
*The gallon allotment calculation used to determine three years of gas at $2.99 per gallon is as follows: 12,000 miles driven per year multiplied by 3 years, divided by the vehicle's adjusted combined EPA City/Highway average miles per gallon (MPG)
12000*3= 36000 / 15 =2400 gallons for the 3 years. Maximum of 800 gallons per year, so 800*1.18 = 944 per year or 2832 for the 3 years.
No matter who wins in November we are going to see even higher fuel prices. It is my belief that our fuel prices are actually being held down artificially until after the election. Fuel prices simply have not risen in relation to the rise in crude oil prices. Only about 70% of a 42 gallon barrel of crude can be turned into gas/diesel/jet fuel. That leaves us at about 30 gallons of fuel per barrel. (Yes I know the rest can still be sold as oils, etc, but from what I read there is an abundance of such oils) So if we take the $126 (barrel) / 30 = $4.20 per gallon. Thats before the cost of refinement, distribution, tax, etc.

Imagine after the election that fuel prices drop back down to 3 - 4 dollar range. So for every gallon you purchase you are only saving a dollar at best. Now, if it said 1000 gallons free, now that might be worth gambling on.
