Default RE: Line X

I've thought about applying line-x to portions of my rear flares. I've found more rock chips since last fall's touch up painting, so I can see that this will be an on going occurance.

I wonder if line-x can be painted? I reailize that soft plastic outter bumpers are painted with some sort of elastic polymer added to the paint so that it will give with the plastic. Just wondering if that technique could be applied to painting line-x.
