Default 1st oil analysis @ 19868

I just did my first oil analysis and from what I can tell, all looks good. The only high onesare Magnesium, Phosphorus and Zinc. Is that anything I should be concerned about?

did you go that long between changes or is that what your odo is at? I'm got another 4k to go to hit 10k between oil changes, was thinking about getting it analyzed. The oil is rated for 25k miles.

5503 Miles on the oil, 19868 miles on the truck. Are you running Amsoil? I tried to but the local rep was a nut case! I still wanted to try Amsoil so I placed an order and we scheduled a time to meet the next day. When I arrived at his home he WASN’T THERE!. I called and left a message saying I’m not interested anymore and he called me back to blame me, because "most customers call an hour before the appointment to make sure he’s home". WTF! I don’t think he fully understood what an appointment was. It’s soooooo much easier to drive to wally world/kragen/napa/pep boys/autozone and just buy what I want.

You can order it online, handymanherb on this site is a dealer.
You can order in gallon jugs so it save money, but look at it this way, your gonna run it 10-12k, so even driving 2k miles a month that's 5-6 months, so its not like you'll have to replace it often so just having it nearby like wallyworld isn't really needed. I'll make sure to pour some oil out in a glass measuring cup and take a picture of it.

BW are you using their filter? I use the amsoil filter but just worried about that long of an interval wth a filter.
Have you done an oil test yet?
Someone on here was talking about an industrial filter magnet that wraps around the filter to keep the metal crap held down.
