8lug... Where have you had the best success in lining up WVO sources? Every one of the restaurants I've checked around here either gets it picked up for free by a grease company already, or else the grease company actually pays the restaurant for it. I'm ready to join the bio-d crowd, but if I can't locate a reasonably consistent supply of oil then it's not worth it. Any tips?

When you say I have to heat the veggie oil or suffer like you did.... what do you mean? Why does the WVO needs to be heated?

The best place to get WVO... privately owned mom & pop restaurants, diners, public schools, chinese restaurants, wing house, bars. Call in a favor to all friends & family ask them if they know anyone who owns/ manages a restaurant, ask them for their oil. Try to get 3x more than you will personally use in a month, and sell the rest.

Thanks... I'm on that track, evidently just haven't pursued it far enough yet.

When you heat the WVO up, it thins it out instead of being thick. Im trying to learn more about the stuff myself. Im looking into the Dr. Diesel stuff- looks easier and cheaper to do, im seeing mixed reviews about all this stuff and im anxious to try it.
