Default Throttle question???

I have noticed that if I get on the throttle, hard and fast, and let off, it wants to keep going like the throttle is hung for a second. I noticed it did the same thing before I ever started using the Smarty Jr. Is this common with all CTD?

Default RE: Throttle question???

Common with the CR engines. When you get on it your building that fuel pressure really high in the rail. When you let off, it takes a second for that pressure to bleed back down. I'm lucky in that I have a manual trans and can just push the clutch in, or else I would have rear ended a guy that stopped getting on the the freeway.
