Here ya go....

And when you do the text, EMBOSS it DOWN......by about 15 pixels w/ 5 - 8 percent blur. This gives the effect of actually cutting the text into the material

I'm waiting on the guy to get back to me with a price.

I sent him a request for a quote on Friday afternoon, so I'm assuming I won't hear from him until sometime Monday hopefully.

I'm gonna see what kind of order we need to place to get a decent price on the stuff.

His "one off" stuff of this type seems to go for around $50.

Between us and the other site, we're looking at around 20 - 30 possible orders right now.

Like I said though, I'm talking to him about the ones with the Turbo Diesel at the bottom.

I'll also send him the blank one, so that if you guys want custom stuff on the bottom, you can tell him and he'll already have the template.

We'll see. I'll keep you informed.

1.) The SRT badge is actually not a font, it's an image. They dont release fonts like this to the public. However, I do have all the Dodge related fonts that I know of in my collection and will be happy to hand them out. The closest that comes to this is SofaChrome...

2.) I really think adding the Cummins logo to the badge makes it look very tacky, not to mention too big. Perhaps if I was able to see one done, I might hold a different view. Not to mention, you would still have the Cummins badges on the side of your truck..

3.) Why not place the Turbo Diesel portion ABOVE the SRT-6 logo? This would place more emphasis on the TD as opposed to the SRT-6. Me personally, I'd throw just the SRT-6 logo on it and leave it alone.

4.) Cumminalong, I've been trying to fix your pictures in these 2 threads, so they should work. The problem is with the display, so they are up and working now. As for these badges man, they look fantastic, and I would definitely agree that if this works out, you deserve the contributors tag....

Ahhhhh, thanks for fixing those pics. They were driving me nuts.

On mine, I have no badges on the truck at all, except the relocated "C" w/ the Turbo Diesel below it that I moved to the tailgate, just above the tailpipe (Just a warning to the errant tailgater).

"My" intent for this is to replace that badge on the tailgate with the smaller of the 2 (w/o the C) and put the ones with the "C" on the doors (almost like where it is on the, ohhhh god, I'm gonna say it.....Ahhh, Hack......PowerChokes).

I was only gonna do the one without the "C", but after Az2500 suggested trying it w/, I though it came out really sharp.

These won't be that big, the smaller one will be in the 6" long range and the larger one will be in the 8.75 - 9" long range and about 2.5" high.

Check out this guys site and you'll see the kind of work he does and the approximate size of them. Really sharp stuff. He can pretty much do any kind of custom work on the badges. They are all CNC'd and really look good.

Here's the guy I'm trying to set this up with.

Jake,

Are you trying to make it look raised or sunk into the badge.

If you want it sunk in, you have to emboss it DOWN.

This should put that actual size of these into perspective. You can see that they are not that large.

Just click the Red X's, the pics will come up.

My tailgate.....

Approx size of the badges.....
