I am off to Tucson to build a huge motor for the baja next week!!! [sm=happybounce.gif]
I hear Briggs and Stratton makes a HUGE mountain motor for those things....

It's like 25 or 26cc's or something insane like that....

Has almost as much volume as ONE of the CTD's exhaust valves.

Hate to hear that. At this rate, they'll only be a few members w/ trucks by next year.

you are not familier with air cooled are you??

I have a stocker dual port 1600cc (1.6litre) in there right now. output is 40 horses...

I used to have a 2007cc (2.007litre) with stroker crank output of 100+ horses.

these cars (baja) only weigh in about 1000lbs or less occupied.

the horse power to weight ratio is fantastic!

I am looking to build another 2007cc, a 2010cc, or a bigger 2165cc .. all stroker motors ..named for the over sized cranks in them.

I want horses and torque. the 2007cc I had put out a ton of torque. allowed me to turn my 31" tires to manuver past "rock climbers" in the desert and haulin a trailer of 800lbs at 75mph on the freeway

WOW Kev - I'm at a loss for words. Hopefully you'll be just as happy if not happier with your Baja. I hope we're not going to lose you from the forums now
