On my bro's 06 1500 QC there were no screws holding his dash panel on. The only screws that needed to be taken out to get the stereo out were the 4 that screw the stereo itself to main dash assembly.

Yeah there are 2 screws above the cup holder, and you cant see them but you can feel them. I think they are phillps head.
