Well, I'd imagine that another Dakota owner would nominate one.
As far as a 1500 being up to par, in the April TOTM, a 2nd gen. 1500 beat out two CTD's.

I can't remember the name, maybe SilverDodge or something was nominated by Tommygunz and he accepted.
Littlefoot was nominated by someone in the 2nd gen forum, and he acceptd.

 

The bottom line was that we had 2 CTD's splitting our votes, against a strong support group in the 2nd gen side.
