Default 08 MPG's?

I'm sure this has been answered and if so, could you point me to the thread!

Anyhow, I'm interested in a 08 3500 - with the new emissions what mileage could I expect empty and or loaded. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the Ford Powerstokes, they took a major dive in mileage for 08 what about the Cummins?

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Gee is there anyone here who could give me a scoop on the empty and loaded mileage of a 3500 or even point me to another thread?

Idleup.....First, Welcome to the Forum.

Second, you gotta be a bit patient right now, the site is all jacked up and some folks cant post. Gotta keep the replys short or they get errors.

On the mileage.....you are looking at around 14-16 MPG with a 6.7, unloadedin stock form. Towing is gonna be entirely dependant on the load (i.e. weight, frontal area, terrain, gearing, etc.). Too many variables to give you a solid number on.

Bottom line....the 6.7 doesnt get the mileage that the 5.9 does. Too much emissions crap to deal with. All of the curent year diesels are down in mileage and the manufacturers are still working on the systems. Thank the EPA ****`s.
