Default Gauges, Opinions on these.....

Does anyone have any experience with these gauges? I am thinking about a set of them becuase they are like $100 less than the other guys out there.

oh hell those look sweet... how are you planning on mounting them? up to '05 there is a bezel that will fit in the dash (what I have)...

I don't know Nick. Gauges aren't something to go cheap on and in today's world you literally get what you pay for.
Sending units can be very cheaply made and in the long run, you could have more problems than you care for.

Your call though... if you get them, do tell about what you think.

So I sent them a couple questions from their web site. See below for the answers. I was worries about the "get what you pay for" thing too, but every manufacturer has to start somewhere. They sell direct instead of through dealers, so that could account for the price difference. I'm still undecided. On a good note, I stopped by and talked to the service manager at my dealer, he is OK with a set of gauges, just no chips.

hello there are 9 setting on each gauge, 7 are solid colors. one is a fast fade and one is a slow fade between colors..... they are 99% accuarte! thank you

very interesting- nice to beable to change your colors- but once you find one it would probably stay.
