maybe a dumb question for you but, you do know you have to machine the head or block for a firering ? If you are doing this... are you doing anything else to it?
well head removed, this thang is damn heavy!!!!
i manage to escape whit only 2 bleeding knukles thanks to the last head bolt who slipping on me so i crushed my finger on the heater return fitting!
i migh do a DIY on FIRERINGS and REINSTALLING THIS whitout messing i all,i was in a hurry today cuz i cant deck the head myself i dont have a stone grinder and summer vacations here next 2 weeks
almost everything is closed... friday ill have to do groove for firerings...

Ill buy a complete ported head later but for now i need to fix a leaking gasket...only about 1 quart of coolant every tank but that bugging me and a little oil is leaking right on the front pulley and messing everything!
