3 im looking into are the smarty, diablo sport predator and the bullydog. i hear the smarty is a very good chip but has horrible gas mileage. also hear the bullydog and diablo are good, but dont know much about them. anyone have any input that i can base my decission of off. it would be a daily driver so i want to have good power, nothing to blow the tranny, but also get good mileage. 2006 or 07 5.9

the Smarty is the best programmer available for our trucks. If anything it helps increase mileage and in no way has been attributed to " horrible " mileage. IMO, I'd stay away from the other two.

You'll want to get the Smarty Jr based on your intentions. Mileage and a little performance is what it was made for.
