Just bought mine this week at Autoanything.com. Cheapest I found anywhere on line $750 with free overnight shipping. Then you can download the $50 mail in rebate form from their website. Mine is an 06 as well.

 

Edge holds us to a strict pricing policy that all dealers must follow. Until this Friday there is a $50 instant rebate and another $50 check rebate from Edge. Great time to save a $100 bucks as Edge does not do this often.

I've notice some of these say 06-07 5.9 and others say 04.5-07 5.9. I have a '05 and have been considering an Edge unit but now I'm a little (more than usual) confused..

 

I am going to be geting a 08 mega cab 3500 next month.I know you guys were talking about a 5.9 while mine would be the 6.7, but Im guessing the 5.9's edge is simalar. I was looking at the edge juce with attiutde. And There ad says up to 100hp and 250tq. I know the top level you have to pay for but do you have to do any mods before using or instaling this unit or to use the top level.There web site doest note any needed mods. Is it safe to use the top like at the strip. Or towing. Because that is 450hp and 900tq on stock setup. That is just crazy!

 

ive heard a few nightmares about the edge with attitude.

 

When you get the edge it says in the instruction manual that unless you have upgrades you should not run in level 4 or 5. (intake, exhaust, tranny etc.) I've only had my on for a week and mostly running in level 2 but am extremely happy so far. Don't know yet about mpg but performance is drastic difference in just level 2, also added Volant air intake. For my 06 the attitude monitor is not optional, its states that it will not funtion without.

 

Oh Okay that is a good explaination. What is the tranny upgrade? Is it a shift kit or something more serious like replacing safts or something like that. Im new to diesel trucks. Is one of the mods injectors. I have heard this will give you the best preformance, but bad gas milage. Thats what I like about this module you can put it back to stock for better gas milage.
