From a safety standpoint last winter when they were around 65k miles I did a wet pavement brake stomp to see how well they gripped and to my suprise, they stopped pretty well. Better than any bfg at I'd had. I dont think they would do well in snow right now but hey, I live in CA... what is snow?

they get rotated front to rear only since they are directional. and about every 5~7k miles. sometimes more often depending on wear. I had a front end issue that was causing some cupping on the insides so the rotation was a little more frequently back then.

alright. just wondering if the front to rear only is ok since theyre directional. im gonna rotate mine about every 3k miles. if you drive a lot, i wouldnt do it that often, but 3k miles is a couple months for me and i can live with rotating once every few months. thanks for the input steve

I need a set of new tires soon and these seems to be the best. What is the load rating? E?

load rating E is the toughest of the passenger truck tires, not sure if there are higher ratings for bigger trucks or not but E is what you'd want if your towing. To date I have over 82k on mine, still have tread left and still seem to be doing fine. Have had no balance issues with them, they are pretty tough, I had a 3/8" or so drill bit removed from one of them and was expecting problems with that tire but never had any. IIRC, I've had 2 flats repaired over the 82k miles.

I highly recommend them.

Steve, do you have the "all terrain" or the "mud" ones?
