Question Front Springs

Are the front coils the same size one the Hemi and the CTD? I know that the diesel ones are a little firmer for the weight, but will they fit on a hemi? I have a buddy that wants to buy my lift but his truck is an '04 Hemi 2500. I have the smaller ubolts that came with the kit for the 10.5, but I'm not sure if the front springs will fit on his truck. Anybody know? Thanks

I dont think so... there is a link to a spring table in the 2nd gen forum that has all of the spring rates on it for 2nd gen trucks (2500/3500 trucks)... might shed some light on your query... with the hemi being a lighter motor I'll bet that the spring rate for that truck will be less than the CTD... if you were trying to lower your 4x4 that would be a way to go, maybe drop 1/2" or so??

yup, should work as long as he's got a SFA... I believe all 2500's have it, the mega cab 1500's also have a SFA up front.
