Default Turbo Electrical Buzz

I have noticed that when ever I shut down my engine there is a loud electric buzz and clicking that comes from my turbo. I took it to the dealership and showed the tech what it was doing and he said that it was normal for it to do this. I had not noticed this before and was wondering if this is really normal or the tech is just not wanting to mess with it. I have a 2007 2500 6.7.

it's probly cus your truck has a variable geometry turbo and in the process of shutting done the turbine wheel is going back to it's orginal position, the buzzing is most likely just like if you turn the key on in other vehicles you can hear the fuel pump "click" or "buzz", you should be fine, theres no codes right? Unless others had this expirence, correct me please

My 06 5.9ctd used to do the same thing. especially when I'd shut the truck off while it was barely coasting still (6spd). When I took my truck to the stealer to fix my truck for long cranking before starting, they reflashed my ecu and it fixed both problems. Only problem I still have and they can't fix is my stupid dome light only stays on for like 3 seconds. When it's dark I can't see S@$#
