Default Cereal number reading

Hi there - can anyone tell me what part of the seriel number tells me if my new truck has a posi or not. I dont have the time or desire to pull the pot cover just for that. I just bought an 02, 3/4 ton with a cummins, ext. cab long box 4x4.
If I dont have a posi, what should I put in her for plowing snow? Thanks - J

There is not a digit of the VIN that will tell you what you are asking. PM me the last 8 digits of your VIN and I can find out for you....
