Default Suspension help

I have an 06 3500 single rear wheel and want to know what if anything can be done to soften up the suspension as it is as stiff as hell with no load and bounces all over the road. I know its a one ton and was built to tow large loads but I would like to make it less stiff. Thanks for your help!

cheapest fix.... tire pressure. I run 35" Toyo MT's (E-rated) and they're at 25/35 psi rear/front when the bed is empty.
Next, better shocks. Check out KORE's website. $160/pair http://www.koreraceshop.com/dodge-shocks.aspx
After that, $$$$$

2redpullers what size truck and year do you have? Also thanks for the link it looks good and very good step by step pics, any follow up on how the truck rides after the leaf spring swap and shocks etc. I will probably start with the shocks and lower tire pressure until I get up nerve to tacklet the rearend. thanks mike.
