Default 97 Cummins 12 valve 5 speed to 6 speed conv need help
I want to convert my 5 speed 12 valve with a 6 speed out of a 24 valve cummins i need help with Will it work? Where to get one? ETC...? Thanks for the help !

are you looking to replace your nv4500 with a nv5600? imo i would keep the 5 speed, the six speed's ate syncros regularly. what you need to do is convert a fuller 6 speed in.

Yeah i'm wanting to replacethe nv4500 with a nv5600? Cause it's the second time in 6 months that the nv4500 has quit well 5 gear has anyway!

And i really don't know about doing the fuller 6 speed is the cost going to be any more than the nv5600?
