Default Throttle position sensor fault

I have a fault on a throttle position sensor, it says TPS voltages do not agree. I am getting 0.8v and 1.6v at idle and almost 2.0v difference at 100% throttle.

Its a 2004 5.9l Cummins with manual transmission. 3500 series.

I am running these vehicles in the Algerian desert so getting to a dealer ain't going to happen.
Is this a known fault? and is there an easy fix or do I need a new TPS.

Thanks in advance
Mike
