Default Front bearing hub - what's the trick?

I have a 2004.5 ctd 2500 with 77,000 miles. Doing upper and lower ball joints and all universal joints and as a cosequense now the bearing hubs. They will not come off!!! It's an AAM axle. There is the 1 11/16" axle bolt and the 4 bolts on the backside of the steering knuckle. The bearing hub should just separate at this point... Right? What's the trick? I have heated it till it's glowing, tried hammer and chisel and it won't budge! Really starting to make me hate it!

go to dieseltruckresource.com do a search on hub removal... good write up there with pictures
also might find good info at turbodieselregister.com

something about setting a socket between wheel hub and knuckle and use the power steering to "break/push" hubs from knuckles.

this is how we do it. leave the nut on the axel untill the brg is loose. you need 3 spacers
2 the size of 3/8 drive deep sockets 1 the size of a short 3/8 drive socket 2 3/8 drive extensions put the ext through the calipe mounting holes both holes stick the long socket over the ext the wrong way slip on the rotor put on the lug nuts 2 turns then put the short socket between the rotor and the tierod end line the other socket up aginst the back side of the rotor and tighten the lug nuts use all 8. the rotor acts as a puller. with out a impact gun it's going to be tough. I can remove the brg that way in less than 5 min. I have heared of the other way with pry bar's and the ps but also heard of them doing dammage when the bar slips . If your doing this in your drive way good luck ether way good luck I do use an old rotor for this you might warp a good one
