I tried starting my 06 3500 CTD the other day with. I turn the key and nothin... I use my remote start and the thing starts up... I shut it off and try the key again nothing ... it doesn't turn over.... I use the RS and it starts up everytime..... But nothing with the key... I tried reprogramming both of my keys and still nothing.... Anyone have a solution???? I unplugged my RS and used the key and nothing....

 

well I have narrowed it down to the ignition switch on the left hand side of the steering column... Dealer says it will be in two days....

 

glad ya got it figured out, that's pretty close to what I was going to guess...

 

its not the ignition switch..... Who ever put the RS in did a shotty job @ it... Spent three hours trying 2 figure out what wires went where then another 2 hours puttin the frig thing back in... Starts like a champ now!!!!!!!!

 

Dodge has a very quiet TSB I found out today on a buddy's alldata.... for this very type of problem... just thought ya'all would like to know
