Need Cold air intake (CAI) for my truck!
i humbly suggest you wait a year or so
before jumping into the CAI
sucker snare
this is worth a read:

it is also worth reading Banks Engineering's current magazine ads that claim that in 'real world' tests of several CAI's that they do not provide improved pressure or temperature of inlet air
.... but go one step further
and doubt the Banks' claims too
if you are bound and determined to spend money on an intake system
consider the propane injection kits,
or the Snow Performance methanol/water kits
... at least they do something measureable

Hank, Thanks for the reply. The tests were done on a stock truck, do you think there would be improvements shown with a 4" SS exhaust and Diablo installed, or is the turbo size still the limiting factor?
since the restrictions measured across the intakes/filters
are already very low
... like 3 to 7 inches of water
very little gain will be found
until this restriction reaches 10 to 12 inches of water
which would call for huge increases in airflow
