Default Dodge Mirrors On Chevy

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fit the Dodge tow mirrors on a 98 Chevy? My friend is wanting to buy mirrors like mine but no one seems to offer good chevy tow mirrors. I've seen chevy trucks with them on there but none of them were willing to offer any help as to how. Any help is appreciated.

You cant put Dodge mirrors on a Chevy...

Well actually you could, with enough duct tape/2 part adhesive/bailing wire, but it would look like crap and probably fall apart to...

I've seen chevy trucks around where i live with them and they looked good but the people that did it said that they weren't going to tell where they got it done. I know if can be done and was hoping that someone knew where i could get the templet to do it.

They probably have GM tow mirror on, in which case, '00 up would bolt on.

I wanna see a pic of one of these Chevys with "Dodge tow mirrors"...

Theres aftermarket companies that make tow mirrors.

I'll see if i can get a picture of them when i get home but i'm positive they are dodge tow mirrors because i have them on my 2000 dodge. They may be made by and aftermarket company which is even better so that my buddy can just buy them and bolt them up. Otherwise we are going to take off the backing plates and see if we can't jerry rig them with a welder to fit his truck...

Well we got them put on and surprisingly they bolt right up and look bad ***. The bolt pattern and mounting plate are identical.

Here is a ****ty picture of my buddies truck. You can see the mirrors and it wasn't a really difficult thing to do if you know how to use a wrench.
