The third gen tow mirrors look great on the 2nd gen trucks, will these fit the mounts for my '01?

The mounting base of those mirrors are too big and will not mount on a 2001. You can buy a Mopar kit that will fit the 2001, but they are not electric nor heated. Part number is 82206157 and retails for about $260.00 for both mirrors and all mounting hardware. See pic below

good luck. i just put a set on my 1500 there great i have never seem my tire smoke like that before lol.

 

The second gens came with the same mirrors. But as previously mentioned, the base is different and they arent power or heated. Get the ones for a 2nd gen and theyll bolt onto any truck from 94-02
