Default Broken tensioner pulley arm

Here is another stealer-ship story for you. My wife took our truck to Peace River, Alberta, Canada, -40 degrees Celcius. Truck was plugged in and would not start, had it towed to nearest Dodge dealer with broken tensioner pulley. The cost to replace the tensioner pulley $354, labour $194, tow bill $130 for five minute tow. I still have remaining power train and engine warranty. Dealer tells me no warranty coverage and the bill comes to $759.36 total. Gee I wonder why people do not like dealers.

I could have purchased the part for $130 and installed it in one hour max. My belt was still good and I have a spare under the back seat. I feel that this should be covered under warranty. If the tensioner pulley breaks you are not going anywhere until it is replaced.
