hey guys ive been facing a problem with the interor lights in my 2006 2500 mega cab. what happens is i open the door and the light goes on like it is supposed too but it immidatly turns off unexpectidly usually within 10 seconds. it is very frustrating and i am lost on were to even start with this on just need a little insight thanks guys.

 

My 06 had the same issue, but i traded her in before i got it fixed. The service guy said it was probably just a programming issue.

 

prerunner is right .Its a programming issue.I have a '06 as well.Had the same problem & they fixed it under warranty.That was about a year ago & its starting to act up again.I guess I will have to take it back in.
