Question P2149

Does anyone know which code P2149 is? My truck has thrown it a few times in the last week. It makes the truck run really rough like its not running on all cylinders.

P2149 - Fuel Injector Group 2 Voltage Circuit.

Sounds like cylinders 4,5,6 got an issue.

Pull the rear injector harness, clean it out and plug it back in and see if that helps.

So pulling the harness out and cleaning it didn't work so I brought it into the mechanic. He tells me that the harness is shorting out because of a faulty valve cover gasket and that it is a common problem with dodges? Has anybody heard of this before? It did fix the problem which was good.

It is a combination gasket / wiring harness, so anything is possible.

At least it's an easy fix.
