Default Need some steering help.

I have a 2002 2500 CTD. With 116K on the clock. I recently went in for an alignment and ended up having the left side upper and lower ball joints replaced as well as the left side hub bearing. This took almost all of the slop out of the steering while turning left. I now have slop going to the right. I have installed a BD steering box stabilizer which helped alot but I still have slop going to the right. I assume its the right side ball joints but the shop said they where ok. Any ideas??

Just because the mechanic didn't feel the right ball joints needed to be replaced does not mean they are not worn. If the ones on the left were worn so bad they needed to be replaced the rights are on the way. You should also check your control arm bushings and steering stabilizer. At the mileage your at it is about time for all of these things to be worn.

I have an 2003 CTD 2500, just had both front and right upper and lowers replaced. Mileage was 115k. Sounds like 115k is about all you get out of them.
