Default low sulfer diesel

has anyone had or heard of anybody having any problems with running it? i remember several injection pump rebuilders wouldnt warranty their pumps if you used it without adding some additive or lubricant to the fuel. have a nice day

We're on Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel. Any lubricants that need to be added are added at time of refining. No problems that Ive heard of.

As for the warranty, thats crap. Its government mandated that we all use it. Nothing a rebuilder can do about it but honor it. Or a person could take them to court and win.

The shop that replaced my lift pump and injection pump said the low sulfer diesel doesn't have the lubricants needed to keep the parts in the vp44 pumps running like they should and he recommended ATF as a low cost but effective additive

Atf is the last thing I would put in my fuel. consider using 2 stroke oil, it's meant to burn.

Hell, the diesel we were running before didnt have the right lubricants to keep the VP alive! That pumps so finicky its not even funny. Really though, all the lubricants you need are already added. You wont have a problem running low and ultra low sulphur diesel...

There are some additives you can run though. Ive never run any sort of additives in anything Ive ever had, but they are out there. Im just not sold on them personally...
