Default fuel pump

has anybody seen anyone put a in line pump befrore the the lift pump on the dodge. someone told me that they did. mounted in the line after the tank and right before the lift pump. they said they were pressure problems and put a few lift pumps on it with now help. thought they would try this and they said it worked. what do any of you think of this?

If you're taking the time to put an after market lift pump on it, but a good one (AirDog, FASS) and remove the stock unit. These two units will provide plenty of fuel for several hundred hp/torque and be more reliable.
