If i decide to straight pipe my truck will it still pass emissions with out the whatever it is under the truck. And do you guys have any systems that you would recommend?

it depends on the state emission tests... In Massachusetts any diesel under 10000 GVW does not have emission tests done to it....

there are no emissions laws for your truck. but if you wanted to get a nice sounding kit, Xpandit makes a good set up for cheap. PM me if you are interested. I just put a 5" kit on for $340 to my door with a muffler and hangers.

just bought a 1999 2500 with the 24 valve... can anyone tell me what if any emissions stuff should be on the truck... ie. does is have a cat.. ect...

just finished reading my Haynes manual and it doesn't appear to have a cat or any emissions equipment
